We hope all the GES families can make it out for PTA Back to School Night. It begins at 7:00 pm with a short PTA meeting. The 2010 - 2011 budget will be presented. Visit the GES PTA Blog for more details. Families will then visit classrooms from 7:20 - 7:40 and from 7:40 - 8:00 (if you have two students here at GES!)
PTA dues this year are $5.00. Please make sure you stop by the PTA table and join the PTA. We are striving for 100% membership with both families and staff.
The PTA has also scheduled many fun events this year. All dates can be found on their blog. Please mark your calendars, the proceeds for these events directly benefit GES! Some already scheduled are Trunk or Treat, Holiday Program, Chuck E. Cheese Night, and Spaghetti Dinner.

All incoming Kindergarten students/parents are encouraged to come out to meet their teacher, Thursday - August 19th, from 1:00 - 2:30, during Kindergarten Orientation.
For grades 1 - 5, students/parents are encouraged to come out to meet their teachers and pay school fees, Thursday - August 19th, from 3:00 - 7:00, during GCPS Business Day. 

Come out to GES on August 12th, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, for a Watermelon Social. The GES PTA is holding this special event so that GES students and parents can meet Mr. Austin, our new principal.
