The lunch menu for April 22 will include delicious tacos prepared with organic beef. The beef will be purchased from Brookview Farms in Manakin-Sabot.

Students in Mrs. Hall‘s Art I class worked together to produce their own version of Grant Wood’s American Gothic.

The students worked individually on small sections of the large-scale reproduction. The students were given just a small piece of a print of the original painting, and were asked to reproduce it. Each student selected materials and techniques suited to their personal style to produce a block of the image. When all pieces were completed, the students helped assemble the image and only then discovered what they had created.

The assembled image is on display in the B Hallway at GHS.
