On February 4, Jason Linett will be here to hypnotize and entertain you with his famous Comedy Hypnosis Show.
Tickets ($8 per ticket) will be on sale during lunch starting on January 24. You may also purchase tickets from Ms. Smith in the Drama Room.
Proceeds benefit the GHS Theater Department.

Navigating financial aid applications is not fun, and it is not easy. The Guidance Department is offering a chance to learn about the process to make it easier.
This Thursday, January 20th, all seniors and their parents are invited to listen to an expert discuss the topic. Our guest, the Assistant Director for Financial Aid from one of the top schools in Virginia, will share his expertise. From every step of the process to the vocabulary used, the topics covered will help anyone interested in financial aid.

On Thusday, Jan 13th, teachers will be available to meet with parents. Report cards went home today.
Representatives from Herff Jones will be in the building on January 12 and 13. Stop by their table in the lunchroom to order your cap and gown, and take a look at all the other goodies they are offering. Preview the offerings on their website.

The Guidance Department of Goochland High School is pleased to present an informational College Panel as a part of the PTSA meeting on Wednesday, Jan, 5, 2011. The panel for this event will be comprised of recent GHS graduates who will present the realities of what students and parents need to know to successfully transition to college life following high school. The audience will have ample opportunity to ask questions of the panel, as well. We hope you will attend this College Panel discussion on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at 6:30 at the GHS Library Media Center.
The Dance Recital, originally scheduled for one of the snow days in December, has been rescheduled. Join us on Wednesday, January 5th at 7p.m. at the GHS Auditorium to enjoy our dance students’ performance.
