The National Arts Honors Society presents Goochland High School’s Youth Arts Festival. Join our artists to create art, watch demonstrations, enjoy food and live performances by the Dance and Drama departments. Young children are especially invited to participate in art contests, learn, and have fun.

The event will be held at the GHS cafeteria.

All funds raised benefit the NAHS Scholarship fund that will be awarded at the end of the school year.

Report cards for MP3 go home today. Be sure to look for them. 

Starting today and through Spring Break, GHS will operate in Smart Block schedule every Tuesday and Wednesday. During these days, time will be set aside for teachers and students to work on remediation prior to SOL and AP testing.

Senior Carrie Mills, along with eight other students from the Richmond area, has been recognized for her essay, Trailblazers: My Past, Present, and Future. Carrie submitted her essay to the Trailblazers contest sponsored by the Library of Virginia, the Richmond Times Dispatch, and James River Writers.

For many years, Jim Connor has been a supporter of the arts in Goochland. He has performed concerts to benefit the Choral Music Department a number of times. Join us to enjoy songs spanning Mr. Connor’s career, from John Denver to The New Kingston Trio, on Friday, March 11 at 7:00p.m.
