On behalf of my staff, I thank the GMS PTA from the bottom of my heart.  As you know this has been a very difficult year, with budget cuts, bigger classes, and additional responsibilities.  Our staff is dedicated to student success at any means, and your recognition of them is much appreciated.  Thank you for all you, not just this week but also all year.  Today’s treats were a welcomed break to the norm.  Thanks again Robin for organizing, but thank you to all the parents who thought enough about our teachers to send in goodies yesterday.

Teacher Appreciation Week is a wonderful time to honor those silent heroes in our community, for the difference they are making in the lives our children.  I am honored to work with such a phenomenal staff.  However the support of our community and parent base, is vital to the success we see in classrooms.  Thank you for being the active PTA that you are.
