Print out the voucher below or visit the RES front office to pick up a copy this week.  Be sure to bring it with you and give it to the cashier when making your purchases.

This is a fantastic time to pick up books from the Summer Reading list, the Reading Olympics list, Father’s Day gifts, or just something you’ve always wanted to read!

Won’t be in town on June 19th?
You can go to http://www.barnesandnoble.com/bookfairs/ and make your purchases online.  During the checkout procedure, you must enter bookfair #10233609 in order for GCPS to get credit for the sale.  These purchases must be made on June 19th only.

A percentage of the sales will benefit the elementary Goochland County Reading Olympics program.  The profits will be split between the three elementary schools - BES, GES & RES.  Those profits will go toward purchasing books that will be used by the 2010-2011 Reading Olympics teams.

Parents of identified elementary gifted students are invited to attend an informational meeting about the 2010-2011 gifted program.  Connie Foreman will be presenting a draft of the gifted program.  Following the presentation, school-based break-out sessions will be held to allow parents time to meet with school principals for more specific information.  Gifted resource teachers will also be in attendance.
