Spring Events Flyer 2012

Calling all parents, students, and teachers! You don’t need a green thumb to help spruce up our school for spring! The whole family can get involved in gardening during this fuln-filled event. A large dump truck of mulch has been delivered and it needs to be spread in the front and on the side of our school. Just bring your gloves, rakes, wheelbarrows, and pitchforks. We can certainly use lots of help beautifying our school. We hope to see you on Friday, April 27 at 3:00 p.m.  We’ll have lots of fun.

4th & 5th grade students from all three elementary schools participated in the GCPS Reading Olympics tournament on Tuesday, April 17, 2012.

The RES Reading Olympics teams enjoyed the day!  We are very proud of their hard work and dedication to this program for the entire year.  Students were expected to read a minimum of 6 books from a list of 38 titles.  Most of our team members read way beyond the minimum requirement.  Congratulations to all of our amazing readers!
