Second grade students participated in the annual Dairy Day at GES on Thursday, May 10th.

Students rotated through several stations throughout the day. 

They learned how to make ice cream and butter.

Students also milked a fake cow and learned about Virginia crops.

Molly Moo, a cow from the Alvis farm, was a big hit!

Students enjoyed seeing a calf that was born 5 days ago.
