A Fond Farewell

The 2011-2012 school year ended on Friday, May 31st.  Roadrunners wore red, white, and blue in honor of Flag Day and were treated to a special sing-along during the end of year celebration.

The highlight of the year was the school-wide focus on turning Randolph’s courtyard into a hands-on outdoor classroom.  This is an ongoing project that was organized by third grade teacher, Jennifer Gates, and has already impacted every classroom in the school.  Teachers, students, families, PTA members, and community helpers have all played a part in making this dream a reality.  Be sure to visit the teacher blogs to learn more about what the different classrooms have been doing to help with the courtyard project throughout the year.

Roadrunners said a fond farewell to retiring teachers, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Solyan, during the Flag Day assembly.

Congratulations to the 5th grade Class of 2012 and best wishes in middle school!

Teachers want to wish students a safe and happy summer!

The 2012-2013 school year begins on Monday, August 20th.
