RES Spruce Up Day

A special thanks is extended to the RES moms, children, and teachers who stayed after school on Friday, April 27, to pull weeds, clean out debris, and spread mulch to the front of our school and in the courtyard. We were able to accomplish so much thanks to everyone's tools, wheelbarrows, and helping hands. A huge thanks goes to Mrs. Jeanna Garcia, who brought her tractor and bucket. Her efforts sure helped lessen the task of hauling the mulch. Plus, Jeanna sure knows how to maneuver that big piece of equipment! The courtyard was tackled by students, headed up by Mrs. Gates, Mrs. Martin, and Ms. Sprouse, while the front of the building received assistance from Mrs. Toni Holcombe, Mrs. Starr Anderson, Mrs. Jeanna Garcia, Mrs. Solyan, Mrs. Ferguson, Ms. Curreri, and Mrs. Gordon. A special thanks to our students for all of their hard work: Andrew and Christian G, Keeley and Bryce S, Austin W, Rebecca H,Devin A, Shannon F, Emmy & Tyler P, Taylor, and former RES student, Emma W. We hope you enjoy the new "Spring look."

Spring Clean Up Day

Parents, Students, and Teachers, You don’t need a green thumb to help spruce up our school for spring.  The whole family can get into gardening during this fun-filled event.  We just had a large dump truck deliver mulch that needs to be spread in the front and along the side of our school.  Therefore, lots of help is needed. Just bring some gloves, rakes, wheelbarrows or pitchforks, an we’ll put you to work!  We hope to see you on Friday, April 27 at 3:00 pm.

RES Welcomes AdvancED Visiting Team

We welcome a five member AdvancED Visiting Team to our school division from April 23 - 25. The team will visit our schools to discuss our vision, mission, curriculum, special programs, school resources, and community support. The team will meet with central office personnel, principals, lead teachers, resource staff, parents, and students to determine our overall strengths as well as areas in which we can strive for improvement the next five years. We will meet with the AdvancED team on Wednesday, April 25, when they will share their findings and suggestions for school improvement.
