On December 6, the Goochland High School robotics team competed at the University of Virginia for the state championships. Forty-eight teams from across Virginia participated in the competition. After eleven hours of competition, Goochland Robotics "Junkyard Dogs" walked away with an appearance in the division finals and 3rd place overall.
Congratulations to the GHS Robotics Team and their coach, Mr. Wilson. This is the best finish, to date, for the team!
