The Virginia Department of Education is allowing school divisions to postpone the spring SOL writing test because of snow closures. Goochland County Public Schools will administer the SOL writing test the week of March 15 for students in grades 5, 8, and 11. The SOL writing test is given in two parts: Multiple Choice and Short Essay. The test schedule we will follow is found below. Please look for additional details from your child’s school.
