During our 2003-2004 SY, we've offered classes in Digital Photography, with emphasis on using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. The following video presentations cover basic, and some advanced features of this software. The movies below are in Quicktime format.
Photoshop Elements Basics
This 8:39 video (7.1 MB) takes you through browsing to a digital photo on your computer, adjusting levels, sharpening the image, zooming in and out, and cropping. Finally, the video demonstrates saving the image as a JPEG file.
Creating a Web Photo Album
This 6:20 video (6.3 MB) demonstrates how to use Photoshop to create a web photo album. The user must have a set of photographs, organized into a folder, before beginning. The completed folder of images and HTML files can be sent to a library media specialist or the county webmaster for posting online.
Creating a PDF-Enabled Slide Show
Do you have a lot of photos you'd like to show, but don't have the time to create a Power Point presentation from scratch? Let Photoshop Elements create a slideshow for you! It will automatically playback using Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
